Why do Leftists Support Hamas?

Recently, Israel’s show “Eretz Nehederet” mocked woke students for thoughtless support of HAMAS and hate for Israel.

We have witnessed demonstrations supporting Gaza, the tearing off placards of hostages taken by Hamas, and the waving of terrorist flags by leftist activists. Why do leftists like Pink Floyd’s’ Roger Waters denies that the October 7th attack that took the lives of 1400 Israelis was a “false flag operation”?

In the previously mentioned satirical sketch, two “Columbia Untisemity” students take an interview from a Hamas fighter who says:

  • Allah will kill you, all infidels.
  • Thank you so much for joining us!
  • You are so stupid that it will be a waste of bullets to kill you.

The level of denial and blindness of leftists is so overwhelming that stupidity is the only word that comes to mind. But how is this possible in the age of easily accessible, reliable information and the triumph of reason? This article explores the motives behind “irrational” support for terrorists and the denial of the painful facts by leftists, especially “progressive” youth.

 

1. Failure and rebirth of Marxism

According to classical Marxist theory, workers, and peasants are the victims of cruel capitalists who want to squeeze all the resources and gains from the poor proletariat. The only way to overturn the bourgeoisie is to revolt. After the world witnessed the communists’ bloody methods during the Russian Revolution in 1917, the Cristero War in Mexico (1926-1929), the Artificial Famine in Ukraine in 1931-1932, Terror Rojo in Spain (1936-1939) public opinion was obviously not in favor of communism. Besides, the working class enjoyed the fruits of industrialization and capitalism, which were the increasing standards of living.

Communist ideologues realized that Marxism 101 is discredited forever; if it can’t be pushed through massacres called revolutions any longer, what are the other options? Italian communist Antonio Gramsci (who died in prison under the fascist regime) came up with the idea of “cultural hegemony,” or the dominance of the ruling class, which manipulates the culture of a given society through beliefs, values, mass information, etc. So the way for Marxism-socialism to win is to infiltrate and overturn society from within.

The founder of Marxist- Freudian – Hegelian Frankfurt School Willi Munzenberg came up with the same idea –

Organize the intellectuals and use them to make Western civilization stink. Only then, after they have corrupted all its values and made life impossible, can we impose the dictatorship of the proletariat. Willi Munzenberg

 

2. The dictatorship of new proletariat

Marxism desperately needed new victims to survive, after workers and peasants failed them (or died during famines and purges). Another representative of Frankfurt School, which moved to New York after 1930, Herbert Marcuse believed that new proletariat would be a victim coalition of minorities—blacks, women, and homosexuals.

“The social movements of the 1960s—black power, feminism, gay rights, sexual liberation—gave Marcuse a unique vehicle to release cultural Marxist ideas into the mainstream. Railing against all things ‘establishment,’ the Frankfurt School’s ideals caught on like wildfire across American universities.”David Galland

 

According to famous KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov this slow process of cultural revolution was called “ideological subversion”.

The first stage of subversion is called “Demoralization” and takes 15-20 years to achieve. This stage took place in the 60s and 70s, when youth were indoctrinated by communist ideas at universities across the US and Europe.

In his 1985 interview, Bezmenov stated:

“The result: most of the people who graduated in the 60s, dropouts or half-baked intellectuals, are now occupying the positions of power in the government, civil service, business, mass-media, and educational system. You are stuck with them, they are contaminated.”

So the Frankfurt School ideologues like Herbert Marcuse were the executors of “Demoralization” process in US and Europe. They have enjoyed the pluralistic societies and freedom of speech to spread the virus of Marxism through their “Critical theory”. Their main goal was to attack and criticize every pillar of Western society, like family, democracy, the rule of  law, and tolerance, as Gramsci had predicted. Marcuse revealed the ugly Marxist face in his concept of “liberating tolerance”.

3. Where is Hamas in this story?

Have you ever wondered why leftists support radical Islamists who kill women for not wearing hijab, castrate homosexuals, repress the freedom of speech, rape and kill civilians? Well, there are three reasons:

  1. Communism has a long-lasting antisemitic notion
  2. Arabs are perfect “victims” of Capitalists, especially Israel
  3. Muslims are the perfect instrument for attacking the values of Western society

Ok, I see that you are ready to burst into rage. Bear with me for a moment and hear my arguments.

Vladimir Lenin rejected Zionism as a harmful reactionary movement of “bourgeois nationalism”. Although the USSR supported the creation of the State of Israel, it returned to an antisemitic stance in the 50-s, after the Six-Day War (1967) diplomatic relations between the USSR and Israel were irrevocably strained. The USSR had provided military aid to Syria, Egypt and Lebanon, which were hostile towards Israel. In the Soviet agenda, Arabs, especially Palestinians, were depicted as victims of Israeli aggressive imperialism.

Herbert Marcuse, himself Jewish, when asked about his own feeling of Jewishness, said he identified with the idea “as long as the Jews were underdogs.” Now that they have become a people “who sit on an underdog,” he said, he found identification “more difficult.”

So it’s no wonder that modern Marxists continue to support Hamas as the underdogs, and Hamas exploits this support for their benefit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recently, renowned professor of economics Thomas Sowell commented on numerous Arab Hamas support manifestations in Europe.

Europe is belatedly discovering how unbelievably stupid it was to import millions of people from cultures that despise Western values and which often promote hatred toward the people who have let them in.

Leftists felt outraged after reading it. For decades, socialist governments in EU have closed their eyes to the growing danger of uncontrolled migration to Europe. One example, the mass rape of 1200 women on New Year’s Eve in Germany by groups of appearing Arab or North African in background, says it all.

But as Yuri Bezmenov stated:

You cannot change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information. The process of demoralization is irreversible. To get rid of those people, you need another 20 years to educate a new generation of patriotically minded people who would act in favor of US (or European) society.”

Leftists like Roger Waters and Ivy League students can still deny the truth that Hamas killed over 1400 civilians, but the tide is already shifting. Lately, after Two hooded men threw the Molotov cocktails at a synagogue in central Berlin early on October 18th, Germany’s interior minister, Nancy Faeser said that  Hamas supporters should be deported from the country where possible.

Europe and the US will be forced to cleanse themselves from destructive elements, such as those who support Hamas or Russian terrorists. This is a long process, but the price paid by neo-marxist policies is already too high. Marxism should be eradicated like Nazism — once and for all.
